About

Researcher.
Strategist.
Builder.

UX researcher with 10+ years translating user behavior into product and business decisions. I work across the full research stack — generative and evaluative methods, behavioral analysis, experimentation, and synthesis — and I've done it at companies like L'Oréal, Estée Lauder, Salesforce, and Verizon, and independently for clients in entertainment, beauty, and construction.

01 Philosophy

Research is only useful if someone acts on it.

I came to UX research through art — a BA and MFA in Studio Art, with a focus on experimental interfaces and user experience. That background shaped how I think about the work: research is not just data collection, it is the process of building a case compelling enough that the people who need to change course actually do.

The projects I'm most proud of are the ones where the research findings directly changed what got built. A field study in Florida that pivoted a UV sensor from a fixed patch to a user-controlled wearable. A social data pipeline that gave a merch team specific lyrics to print instead of generic gut calls. A three-tier cost model that gave a contractor a way to walk into a client meeting as an advisor instead of a bidder.

The gap between what works in a lab and what works in the world is exactly where UX research lives.

I'm drawn to problems at the edge of what research has been used for before — consumer electronics, entertainment, construction, beauty technology. The methods transfer. The domain is just context. What stays constant is the discipline of letting evidence drive the decision, and communicating findings in a way the audience can act on.

Currently I'm deepening my practice at the intersection of AI tooling and traditional research methods — building pipelines that can do at scale what was previously only possible at small sample sizes, while keeping the qualitative rigor that numbers alone can never replace.

04 Education

Art school trained. Data driven.

An arts background isn't a detour from UX research — it's the foundation. Studying how to look, how to make, and how to communicate visually shapes how I see problems and how I present findings. The experimental interfaces concentration at Montclair bridged the creative and the technical in ways that a traditional HCI program wouldn't have.
